POWER HOUR: Making Minutes Count, a homework-help program, encourages Club members to become self-directed learners through daily homework help and tutoring.

SMART Moves

Is a health program made up of three groups: SMART Kids for ages 6-9, Start SMART for ages 10 -12, and Stay SMART for ages 13-15. Each program builds knowledge, attitudes and skills that increase healthy decision-making.

ImageMakers

IMAGEMAKERS is a program that helps Club members learn the art and science of photography in multiple categories. Categories for ImageMakers include Culture and Tradition, Portraits, Nature and Surroundings, Fashion and Style, and Editing and Filter. Photographs are displayed at local and regional exhibits around the country.

All-Star Sports Leagues

Is an organized sports league for youth and teens engaging members to play basketball, flag football and soccer. The goal of All-Stars is to allow all members to build physical literacy as they participate on a sports team and most importantly, have fun.

Project Learn

Is a comprehensive Academic Success strategy where we provide a positive environment to cultivate a love of learning through partnerships, academic support and high-yield activities throughout the Clubs. Research has shown that kids do better in school when they spend their non-school hours engaged in learning activities such as leisure reading, writing and even games like Scrabble that develop their cognitive skills.

DIY STEM

DIY STEM is a hands-on activity-based program for ages 9-12 that helps them connect scientific principles and real-world applications. DIY STEM includes five modules: Energy amd Electricity, Intro to Aeronautics, Engineering Design, Food Chemistry, and the Science of Sports. Exposure to science, technology, engineering and math is critical during the tween years when Club members natural curiosity drives interest and builds capacity for success in these disciplines.

Makerspace Room

MAKERSPACE is a place where members have an opportunity to explore and learn how to use tools and materials to develop creative projects. Our members engage in creating projects with a 3-D printer, exploring robotics, and learning how to use a laser cutter in the field of electronics.

National Fine Arts Exhibit

NATIONAL FINE ARTS EXHIBIT is a program that encourages artistic expression among Club members through drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media, and sculpture. Club members artwork is entered into a Boys & Girls Club contest.

Early Learning Center

The Early Learning Center provides a social learning environment that nurtures and supports Pre-K students as they actively experience with and explore language, mathematics and science.

Teen Center

Keystone Club

Is a unique leadership development experience that provides opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18 to participate in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation, and community service.

Career Launch

A program for teens, where they identify job requirements, seek out financial aid and participate in career and job skills such as resume writing, interview preparation and job-seeking skills.
